Blue Origin Rocket Loaded With Female Celebrities Set To Launch Today:

Blue Origin is set to launch its first all-female crew into space aboard the New Shepard rocket today.

The NS-31 mission, scheduled for 9:30 am ET from West Texas, will carry six accomplished women on an 11-minute suborbital flight, reaching 62 miles above Earth. This marks the first all-female spaceflight since Valentina Tereshkova's solo mission in 1963.

On board today’s flight will be Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn.

The crew will experience weightlessness and observe Earth's curvature during the brief journey. They have undergone extensive training, including zero-gravity simulations and emergency procedures.

Blue Origin has not disclosed the cost per seat for this flight. The launch will be streamed live on Blue Origin's website and Space.com, with coverage beginning 90 minutes before liftoff.
