A Woman Called Triple-A During a Standoff . . . to Fix a Tire the Police Had Just Spiked

This is kinda like a burglar being in the middle of robbing a Sephora, and ordering sushi on DoorDash.

A 45-year-old woman in Utah named Annamae Martinez was arrested on Wednesday, after leading police on a high-speed chase. It began when a cop clocked her at 120 miles per hour . . . and started a pursuit.

Troopers attempted to spike her tires TWICE. They were successful on the second try, nearly 100 miles away from where she was first spotted.

Annamae's tire deflated, and she pulled off to the side of the road. The police surrounded the car . . . but she wouldn't lower her window or exit the vehicle. And get this: About 40 minutes into this standoff, she called Triple-A to ask them to come out and fix her tire.

Triple-A transferred the call to the police, and the cops on the scene jumped on the call and convinced her to come out. She was charged with reckless driving and failing to stop for police.
