Metallica's Kirk Hammett Is Working On A Solo Album
767 new riffs…is that a lot? It sounds like a lot. Kirk Hammett of Metallica has announced that he is working on his debut solo album, describing it as "a fusion of all sorts of styles." This project is Hammett's first full-length solo album, following his 2022 instrumental EP “Portals.” The upcoming album is expected to feature vocal tracks and show off a broader range of Hammett's musical influences. In Metallica news, he says he’s accumulated 767 new riffs for Metallica's next album. When’s that new Metallica album coming? Hammet said he doesn’t see the band working on it “for at least another year,” which means he has time to round that out to an even thousand.

Evanescence Will Have A New Single In Netflix Series "Devil May Cry"
Evanescence is set to release a new single, "Afterlife," this Friday, but a lyric video for the track will premiere on Thursday at 9 am Pacific time featuring exclusive clips from Netflix's upcoming animated series "Devil May Cry." The series is based on the hit Capcom video game franchise. The animated series is scheduled to release on Netflix next Wednesday, April 3rd.
