Billie Joe Armstrong Is Now Part Owner Of A Baseball Team
Green Day's lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, and rapper Too Short have joined the ownership group of the Oakland Ballers, an independent baseball team based in Oakland, California. It’s not surprising considering Armstrong's deep ties to Oakland and his support for local sports, especially in light of the Oakland Athletics' planned relocation to Las Vegas. Armstrong has been vocal about his disapproval of the A's move, even altering the team's logo during a concert to show his allegiance to the Ballers. The Team invested over $1.6-million in its park before the team’s first game last year, and drew big crowds all season long.

Billy Corgan Says the Tide Is Gonna Turn for Nickelback and Creed
A lot of ridiculous things have been said on Joe Rogan's podcast . . . and Billy Corgan just added a log to the pile.
While talking about polarizing music acts, he said, quote, "You're about to see that Nickelback and Creed are about to go on a huge run of business.
"They survived [the hate], and now comes the inevitable moment of, 'It was really good' . . . they wrote a lot of great songs."
He also called his own band, Smashing Pumpkins, quote, "one of the most misunderstood bands in the history of rock and roll."
He added, quote, "Time will tell my story much better than I did."

Ghost Announces New Album, Tour
Swedish rock band Ghost has announced their sixth studio album, Skeletá, set for release on April 25th through Loma Vista Recordings. The album's lead single, "Satanized," introduces fans to the band's new frontman, Papa V Perpetua. The band has also unveiled "The Satanizer," an interactive music video experience allowing fans to insert themselves into the video by uploading a photo. In support of Skeletá, Ghost will embark on the “Skeletour” starting April 15th in Manchester, UK, with dates across Europe, North America, and Mexico. Notably, this tour includes the band's first performance at New York's Madison Square Garden on July 22nd.
