In the movie "Django Unchained", there's a scene where Leonardo DiCaprio slams his hand on a table, breaks glass, and ends up with a badly bleeding hand.
Well, that was a completely unplanned accident, but since Leo just kept on going without breaking character, Quentin Tarantino left it in the movie.
And last night, something similar happened to Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show".
During a heated monologue on prescription drug prices, Stewart shattered his mug on his desk, and you could immediately tell something wasn't right.
He looked down at his hand, then lowered it under his desk, and said, quote, "I'll be going to the hospital soon."
But he kept on raging. And three minutes later, he lifted his hand, showing it wrapped in a bloody tissue . . . and told the crowd, "It's fine!"
Stewart finished the show . . . and there's no word if he DID go to the hospital afterward.
