They told “Today” in an email “A surcharge on eggs? Well, there’s nothing hospitable about that. At Cracker Barrel, country hospitality is as important to us as a hearty breakfast — and that means not charging extra for eggs.” Not only that, but the restaurant has shared that rewards members will earn double pegs (points) on all egg dishes through Feb. 12.

A new magical Goldfish flavor is appearing soon. The brand is teaming with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to "cast a delicious spell" with limited-edition Goldfish Butterbeer Flavored Grahams inspired by “Harry Potter.” The flavor is described as a "rich butterscotch flavor, hints of creamy vanilla, and a touch of magic in each fun-shaped bite." Trader Joe’s and Costco are now limiting egg purchases, with signs restricting shoppers to just one or three dozen, depending on the store. The shortage stems from a massive avian flu outbreak that’s wiped out around 8% of egg-laying hens across the country, sending prices soaring and leaving shelves bare. The crisis has even prompted restaurants like Waffle House to add temporary surcharges to egg-based dishes. With no clear end in sight to the shortage, some consumers are getting up at dawn to try and score a carton, while others are considering alternative protein sources like chickpeas for their morning meals.

IHOP Returns Strawberry Chocolate Pancakes As Pancake Of The Month For February
IHOP is celebrating the first anniversary of their Pancake of the Month program and they’re returning their Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes for the month of February.
The Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes full stack is priced at $13.99 and features four chocolate chip pancakes topped with freshly sliced strawberries, cheesecake mousse, more chocolate chips, a chocolate sauce drizzle, and whipped topping.
If you want the pancakes as a side only, you can get them for $9.49 or as part of the IHOP’s Pancake of the Month Combo that’s priced at $16.99. The combo features any two same-flavored pancakes, two eggs any style, two pork sausage links or two hickory-smoked bacon strips, and hash browns.
