Billy Corgan Launches Video Podcast.

There’s a lot to take in here if you’re not familiar with what Billy Corgan’s up to these days. He’s joining with Bill Maher’s Club Random Studios to host a new podcast, “The Magnificent Others.” The video podcast will have Corgan talk with artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, and musicians like Gene Simmons, Richie Sambora, Tom Morello, Pat Benatar, and more. Corgan’s a busy guy; the Smashing Pumpkins released their 13th album last year, and he’s also the owner and president of The National Wrestling Alliance. “The Magnificent Others” is set to launch on Wednesday.

Jelly Roll Brings Some Big Names Along For First Responders Thank You Concert

The Rose Bowl in Pasadena was the place to be Saturday night, especially if you're a first responder. Jelly Roll's "A Concert for All First Responders" was exactly that; we told you last week that the singer was putting on a show specifically for those on the front lines battling the LA wildfires. But Jelly wasn't alone; joining in the fun were Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, Shinedown, Marshmello and Public Enemy. For more than two hours the performers thanked first responders and gave them a brief repreive from fighting the wildfires, which, as one firefighter explained, they've been battling for 25 days straight without a break. Check out Jelly Roll and Shinedown's rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man"

Def Leppard Releases Cover Of "Stand By Me" To Benefit Wildfire Relief

Fire relief efforts continue for those affected by the Los Angeles fires, and one of the latest is unusual. Def Leppard has now released a cover of Ben E. Lee’s “Stand By Me,” with proceeds from the track going to FireAid. The song was featured in the Netflix movie “Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger,” which was released a month ago. It’s the first new music from Leppard since “Just Like 73” was released in June.
