The Drake / Kendrick Lamar beef isn't over yet. At least not in Drake's mind. Yesterday, he filed a defamation lawsuit against his own label, Universal Music
It's all about Kendrick's diss track "Not Like Us", in which he calls Drake a PEDOPHILE.
In his lawsuit, Drake says Universal, quote, "approved, published and launched a campaign to create a viral hit out of" the song . . .
Which was, quote, "intended to convey the specific, unmistakable and false factual allegation that Drake is a criminal pedophile, and to suggest that the public should resort to vigilante justice in response."
It adds that Universal, quote, "intentionally sought to turn Drake into a pariah, a target for harassment, or worse . . . because it would profit from damaging Drake's reputation."
Drake and Kendrick are both signed to subsidiaries of Universal. Drake is on Republic Records, and Kendrick is on Interscope.
