A Pizza Place Is Charging Over $100 if You Add Pineapple

Happy National Pizza Week! Are you a pineapple fan? These guys aren't, and they're being pretty spiteful about it.

A place in England called Lupa Pizza just added a Hawaiian pizza to their menu. But the owners HATE pineapple, so they decided to charge more for it . . . a LOT more.

Their pepperoni pizza costs 12 pounds, or around 15 bucks. But their Hawaiian pizza with ham and pineapple will run you just over $120.  (!!!)

Their delivery menu says, "Yeah, for 100 pounds you can have it." They say to pair it with champagne, since you're already splurging.

CNN talked to them. And at that point, no one had ordered it yet. But it's drummed up a ton of publicity.

They say there's a chance they'll keep it on the menu and lower the price. Or . . . they might raise it even more.

Their local paper launched a poll asking readers, "Does pineapple belong on pizza?" If "yes" wins, they'll make their Hawaiian a monthly special. Last we checked, they might have to. "Yes" was winning.

They say no promises on price though. If they do add it long term, they might drop the price, or they might double it.

Starbucks Is Closing Its Doors to Non-Paying Customers

Starbucks wants customers to stick around and hang out for a while, like they used to in the old days. The problem is: Their cafes are packed with people who are NOT drinking their coffee and eating their overpriced food.

Several years ago, Starbucks launched an "open door" policy, but that filled many locations with homeless people and other non-paying customers who spend all day there "working remotely," reading books, and writing screenplays.

So Starbucks just released a new code of conduct, which will be posted on the door. It says, "Starbucks spaces are for use by our partners and customers . . . this includes our cafes, patios, and restrooms . . . our goal is to create a welcoming environment."

They will also be cracking down on bad behavior, including noisy disruptions . . . discrimination and harassment . . . abusive and threatening language . . . vaping and smoking . . . and panhandling.

They say any non-paying guests who misuse their spaces will be asked to leave, and, if needed, staff "may ask for help from law enforcement."
