Surviving Soundgarden Members To Perform At Charity Event

It’ll be brief, but the remaining members of Soundgarden are getting back together at the 13th annual SMooCH benefit concert for Seattle Children’s Hospital’s uncompensated care fund. Kim Thayll, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepherd will perform with singer-songwriter Shaina Shepherd under the alias NudeDragons, an anagram of “Soundgarden.” It’ll be the first time the three have performed together since they joined Brandi Carlile in Seattle to play “Black Hole Sun” and “Searching With My Good Eye Closed” in 2021.

Axl Rose Settles Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Axl Rose is putting the sexual assault lawsuit by Sheila Kennedy behind him. The Guns N’ Roses singer tried to have the lawsuit dismissed in March, and even though he still denies the allegations it was announced yesterday that Rose has settled the suit. A key piece of the defense team’s case was the fact that Kennedy talked about the encounter between her and Axl in the 2021 documentary “Look Away” and said she “did not consider it rape” and added that it “was consensual.”

Coldplay Set to Perform on 2024 Billboard Music Awards

Coldplay has been announced as yet another performer for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards! The band will reportedly be playing music from their latest album ”Moon Music.” Coldplay is up for two awards this year…Top Duo/Group and Top Rock Touring Artist. They join previously announced musical acts Tyla, SEVENTEEN and Teddy Swims. The 2024 Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Michelle Buteau, will air on December 12th at 8PM Eastern. The show will be available on multiple platforms, including Fox, Paramount+, and Fire TV Channels.
