A Man Tried to Rob a Church with an Ax, But Ran Into an MMA Pastor
If you're a thief who's considering robbing a CHURCH, you're probably more worried about THE MAN UPSTAIRS than the pastor. But some pastors ARE bad-ass.
A burglar in California got more than he bargained for on Thanksgiving, while breaking into a church with an ax.
The pastor was nearby . . . he heard the alarm . . . and he immediately ran to confront the intruder. They even started BRAWLING. Normally, you'd give the edge to the guy with the ax.
But the pastor was a man named Nick Neves, and he has a background in kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and other MMA. He says he was able to "grapple" with the guy for about 15 minutes, without doing much actual harm to him, until the authorities arrived.
The suspect may be homeless. He was arrested, but it's unclear what charges he's facing.
