Krispy Kreme Brings Back Thanksgiving Pie Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme is getting into the Thanksgiving spirit by bringing back their Thanksgiving Pie Doughnuts with four new flavors. Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said “There’s nothing more meaningful and traditional than spending time around the table with those we love this time of year. Our new Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection was created with that in mind to help bring people together and sweeten the season of sharing joy and gratitude.”
Here are the details on the four new doughnuts:
- Apple Crumble Doughnut – features pie crust buttercreme and a cinnamon cookie crumble.
- Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut – a chocolate lover’s dream with chocolate icing and buttercream.
- Lemon Crème Pie Doughnut – doughnut with lemon crème pie filling.
- Blueberry Crisp Doughnut – made with classic blueberry pie filling.
All of the new Krispy Kreme Thanksgiving Pie Doughnuts are available now through Thanksgiving. Check with your local Krispy Kreme store for pricing and availability.

Burger King Is Adding 3 All-New Whoppers To The Menu
Burger King has just announced the addition of three all-new Whoppers to their menu. The new Whoppers were chosen from the Burger King Million Dollar Whopper Contest from February this year where one winner will be awarded a $1 million prize for their original Whopper idea. The three finalists are the new Whoppers coming to menus nationwide beginning November 14. Here’s a rundown:
- Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper created by Fabian in California– features a ¼-pound flame-grilled patty, pickle ranch, lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese on a sesame seed bun. The reviewer from allrecipes who tasted all of the finalists said this one came up short compared to the other two.
- Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper created by Calvin in California -a ¼-pound flame-grilled patty with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions and jalapeños, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, and American cheese on a sesame seed bun. This one came in second place according to the reviewer, but admits that it could end up as the winner.
- Mexican Street Corn Whopper created by Kelsie in Nebraska– a ¼-pound flame-grilled patty topped with street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, Southwest-seasoned tortilla crisps, and Mexican spicy queso on a sesame seed bun. This ‘out-of-the-box’ Whopper was the favorite of the three by the reviewer, but the uniqueness may be too much for some people.
The three new Whoppers will be on Burger King menus beginning November 14 for a limited time at all Burger King restaurants nationwide. There’s no official word on when the $1 million prize is to be awarded.
