There are a few subtle differences between working from home, and going into the office. The big one is: To go to the office, you will need to get dressed. But also: You can kick off your shoes.
There's a debate on social media about whether it's cool to take your SHOES OFF . . . and walk around in socks . . . at the office.
Some people say they've noticed it happening more after the pandemic . . . as part of several ways people are still acting like they were at home.
Take Our Poll
Naturally, most of the comments were from people who were against it . . . just like how people react when there are debates about taking your shoes off during a flight or in a ride-share.

Another person said, "I don't give a [crap] what people do or don't wear on their feet. The issue is whether or not the feet smell rancid."
Some people added some nuance. Like: It's okay if you're at your desk, and there's no stench . . . but not walking around. Or: It's okay for women who have to wear high-heels, but not men. Or: It depends on your profession.
And this take: Socks could be fine as long as it's THAT chill of an office . . . but BARE FEET is a hard no.
