McDonald’s Makes Official Announcement Of New Chicken Big Mac

The McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac has been long-awaited by fans of the chain and its introduction has now been made official. The original Big Mac was introduced back in 1968 and despite being offered in other countries around the world, the Chicken Big Mac will be on menus at participating US McDonald’s locations on October 10 for a limited time.

The Chicken Big Mac consists of two tempura battered chicken patties in place of the original’s all-beef patties, layered American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and special sauce served on a sesame seed bun. There’s a sliced bun in the middle just like the original Big Mac so the chicken patties replace the beef and there you have it!

To see if the new sandwich measures up to the original, Kai Cenat, internet sensation and Big Mac enthusiast, will be livestreaming with friends of their opinion of the Chicken Big Mac to see if it qualifies as a real Big Mac. You can follow McDonald’s on their social media accounts to see everyone’s reaction. The Chicken Big Mac will be available on October 10 at participating McDonald’s US locations for a limited time and prices may vary.

Costco Deli Just Introduced A Beef And Pork Meatball Marinara Sandwich That Weighs Over 2 Pounds

Costco’s deli department has just introduced a giant new sandwich that weighs in at over 2 pounds - the Beef and Pork Meatball Marinara. It’s premade and served cold, but it’s best to warm it up before eating and features meatballs in marinara sauce with a layer of Provolone cheese on top and bottom, and sprinkled with Parmesan on artisan hearth bread.

The sandwich is getting some mixed reviews including:

  • “I’ll have a chunk of that sandwich please!”
  • “15 bucks seems a bit high [for] something that is mostly bread” by a Redditor.
  • “Weighs two and a half pounds. $15 for a 2 lb sandwich is pretty good.”

Other folks chimed in when they began doing the math to make the sandwich themselves with one user saying “Bag of meatballs – 5 bucks; Jar of marinara – like two bucks; Cheese – maybe 2 bucks; Big French roll – idk like a dollar fifty? And you can make a few of these.” Another poster countered with “You could buy the ingredients and make 2-3 for the same price lol” but another said “Isn’t that the case with all the pre-made items? You’re buying convenience.”

The new Beef and Pork Meatball Marinara sandwich is available at Costco delis and from the responses it remains to be seen if it’s a success or a failure.
