Kevin Smith's new flick "The 4:30 Movie" is a semiautobiographical take on his childhood. So he actually thought about casting his daughter, Harley Quinn Smith, in the lead.
But she turned him down.
Kevin says, quote, "She was just like, 'You don't think I've got enough nepo baby [crap] to deal with online? You now want me to play you? [Eff] that.'"
Harley had already starred in two of her dad's movies: "Yoga Hosers" and "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot".
So instead he cast Harley's BOYFRIEND, Austin Zajur . . . who'd already worked with Kevin on "Clerks 3".
