After a subpar performance, Journey's lead singer Arnel Pineda responded to fan criticism by offering to quit if enough of them texted that he should go. Here they are doing their encore and Arnel probably shouldn't have been going for the extra effort.
Of Note: He said, "No one more than me in this world feels so devastated about this. It's amazing how a thousand right things you have done will be forgotten just cause of THIS . . . and of all places, it's Rock in Rio." Arnel has been struggling with other shows recently. Singing those songs have damaged the vocal cords of former Journey frontmen Steve Perry and Steve Augeri.

Perry Farrell's Wife Says He's Seeking Help After On-Stage Fight
The fight that led to an early end for a Jane’s Addiction concert, which led to the rest of the tour being canceled, has now resulted in frontman Perry Farrell getting help. His wife Etty Lau shared an update on social media Saturday, saying that the singer has made appointments with an ear, nose, and throat specialist called an otolaryngologist and a neurologist. Lau went on in her post to thank the fans, and to say he’d be back to making music as soon as possible.
