Jane's Addiction Drops New Music Amid Band Struggles
Here’s the rundown of the last week for the reunited Jane’s Addiction: on tour, in a fight, tour canceled, and now…new music? After the onstage fight in Boston between Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro which led to the band announcing the cancellation of the rest of their tour, the band has very quietly released the second single since getting back together. The song “True Love” is available on streaming platforms, but the band hasn’t done any promotion for it. The band has said they’re working on a new album, but whether or not that’s still true is anyone’s guess.

Evanescence To Enter Studio In November
During an interview at the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil over the weekend, Amy Lee was asked if Evanescence has any plans for the next few months. Amy’s response? “We’re in the creative process right now, but we’re not deep in the throes of it yet,” then added, “We’re gonna get serious and get in the studio in November for the first round.” Yep, Evanescence is working on new music for what would be their sixth studio album.

311 Announces New Album "Full Bloom"
For 34 years, 311 has been putting out hit records one after another, and now they’re looking to do it again. “Full Bloom,” the 14th studio album from the band, is set to release on October 25th. It’s the first full-length project from 311 in five years, with 2019’s “Voyager” being their last release. True to form, the first single from the new album, “Need Somebody,” is the band’s highest-charting song in 13 years, and the band says they hope fans will take their “message of positivity and unity” and run with it.

Linkin Park Debuts New Singer On "Tonight Show"
Linkin Park is now “Tonight Show” official with new vocalist Emily Armstrong. Tuesday night, Jimmy Fallon welcomed the band onto the stage on NBC to perform what Fallon called the “television debut” of Linkin Park’s new single, “The Emptiness Machine.” During an interview before the performance with Mike Shinoda, he told Fallon that “we never set out to, like, ‘Let’s bring the band back’ or ‘Let’s find a singer,’” then added, “We came up with the music while we were creating the new band.”
