If you're a burglar, you don't just have to figure out how to get INSIDE . . . you also need to know how you're going to get OUT. And it isn't as straightforward as you might think.
A 33-year-old man broke into a luxury Corvette in a parking garage in Miami on Tuesday . . . but he couldn't start the car OR get out.
That model has a security feature where none of the electrical components will function if you don't have the key. And that includes the doors, although there IS a manual door release under the seat that the guy didn't know about.
The owner got back to his car, and was startled to see the burglar stuck inside. He started filming him with his camera, and asked him what he was doing.
The burglar asked the man if he could help him out, and the owner said, "No . . . we're calling the cops." And the guy responded, "For what?"
The police came and arrested the guy. He's facing one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance . . . and his bond was set at $2,500.
