Jane's Addiction Tour Canceled. Perry Farrell Apologized After Jane's Addiction Canceled the Remaining Tour Dates
As expected, Jane's Addiction announced yesterday that their remaining tour dates are canceled, after Perry Farrell assaulted Dave Navarro during their show on Friday in Boston.
Perry shared an apology online, saying, quote, "This weekend has been incredibly difficult and after having the time and space to reflect, it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday's show.
"Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behavior, and I take full accountability for how I chose to handle the situation."
Dave, along with drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery, posted their own joint statement. They said, quote, "Due to a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell . . .
"We have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to discontinue the current U.S. tour. Our concern for his personal health and safety as well as our own has left us no alternative. We hope that he will find the help he needs.
"We can see no solution that would either ensure a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to deliver a great performance on a nightly basis. Our hearts are broken."

Blink-182's Mark Hoppus Announces Memoir
Mark Hoppus is branching out. The bassist and vocalist for Blink-182 announced yesterday that he’s written a book. “Fahrenheit-182” is set to release on April 8th, and can be pre-ordered now at fahrenheit182.com. In an NSFW video posted on Instagram, Hoppus said his book has “punk rock clubs, skateboarding, and 90s music, but that’s not all. In true punk form, he also promises that if you order now, you’ll receive “at no extra cost to you” anxiety, depression, band breakups…and everyone’s favorite, cancer!” Mark was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2021 but reported that he was cancer-free in September 2022 after chemotherapy.

Jelly Roll and MGK on Why They Hated Each Other for So Long
Jelly Roll and MGK's song "Lonely Road" came out in July and surprised a lot of people because they used to HATE each other.
They just did an interview where they talked about how they went from enemies to friends. So, why was there so much beef in the first place?
Jelly chalked it up to the fact that there just weren't many white rappers back then. The whole scene was competitive, so the hate was almost automatic.
MGK agreed, saying it was like they were "bred to hate each other." Jelly joked that the fact that MGK was "skinny and handsome" didn't help either.

Chalk up another rock band calling it quits. REO Speedwagon announced that they'll stop touring at the end of this year due to irreconcilable differences between lead singer Kevin Cronin and bassist Bruce Hall.
Part of their statement on X says, "To our fans: Bruce has intended to be Back On the Road Again by now. If it were up to just him, he'd be back on tour, but it's not up to just him.
