Music News: Dave Grohl Says Viral Baby Post Is Fake

Dave Grohl Says Viral Baby Post Is Fake

It’s been quite a week in Dave Grohl's world. First, the Foo Fighters frontman revealed he had fathered a child out of wedlock, then we found out his daughter had deactivated her Instagram in the middle of the scandal, and now he’s having to deal with a woman claiming to be the mother who he says…isn’t. A woman going by the name Valerie Greyston posted to Instagram with a pic of a baby she says is Grohl’s, and even bragged that Dave was by her side during her pregnancy with “Roxie Junie Grohl.” A rep for Grohl told the press the child in the picture wasn’t Grohl’s, and the post has been deleted. Stay tuned for another chapter in the continuing drama, which will most likely come soon.

Mike Shinoda Says Linkin Park Carrying On With New Singer Isn't About "Erasing The Past"

The criticism continues about the new version of Linkin Park, but Mike Shinoda obviously thinks one part of it isn’t true. At the kickoff for the band’s From Zero World Tour on Tuesday, Shinoda told the crowd, “It is not about erasing the past. It is about starting this new chapter into the future and coming out here for each and every one of you.” Chester Bennington’s son Jamie made it clear he didn’t like the new edition of Linkin Park in several now-expired Instagram Story posts and said Shinoda “quietly erased my father’s life and legacy in real time…during international suicide prevention month.”

Poison Won't Tour Next Year . . . But Bret Michaels Wants to Do a 40th Anniversary Tour in '26

It's going to be a while before you can see Poison live again. Drummer Rikki Rockett says they won't be touring in 2025 because Bret Michaels doesn't want to.

And Bret himself says he's doing "limited shows" next year because he's going to focus on his health. He says his diabetes needs a "tune-up," and he's down for some, quote, "much-needed personal family time."

He adds, quote, "I'm like a classic muscle car: still fast and still fun to drive, just need a little more maintenance lol."

However . . . 2026 is the 40th anniversary of Poison's classic album "Look What the Cat Dragged In" . . . and he'd love to do a tour for that.
