Food: Kraft Mac & Cheese Adds 2 New Bold Additions To The Lineup

Kraft Mac & Cheese Adds 2 New Bold Additions To The Lineup

Kraft Mac & Cheese has just added 2 new bold flavor additions to their lineup – Jalapeño Mac & Cheese and Ranch Mac & Cheese.

Kraft says “the new flavors are more than just delicious twists on a classic flavor. They embody what KRAFT Mac & Cheese has always stood for – comfort, familiarity, and a sense of warmth that has filled fans up and helped them re-ground and reset through every stage of their lives.” The new flavors sell for $1.99 per box and are available at stores nationwide.

Kraft gave the folks at Guilty Eats a chance to taste the new products before their release to the public. The reviewer said the Ranch Mac & Cheese was their favorite, with the Jalapeño Mac & Cheese lacking a little in the “hot” category, but you can try them for yourself to see if you agree.

The Top TikTok Food Trends Of The Year So Far

We’re always looking for a good recipe to try, and a lot of folks turn to TikTok to find them. Some of these end up going viral, whether they deserve to or not, and suddenly everyone we know and see online is making them. We know it’s only August, but looking back at the first half of the year, these are the best TikTok food trends of 2024 so far.

  • Tomato Ice Toast- This is a newer trend and it’s one of the strangest Gen Z creations. It’s tomato-flavored shaved ice on toast, made by freezing veggies and grating or shaving them on toast. But it can be sprinkled over burrata, too, as chef Eitan Bernath shows in one video where he drizzles it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a little salt, pepper and a sprig of basil.
  • Chamoy PickleThis one has been in thousands of TikToks, but it’s controversial for a reason. It’s a dill pickle soaked in a mix of chamoy - a Mexican condiment - sweet and sour candy powders and tajin, then it’s wrapped in a fruit roll up and stuffed with Takis, for a strange swicy combo.
  • Sleepy Girl Mocktail - Fans of it claim it lulls them to sleep, but the concoctionof tart cherry juice, seltzer and a spoonful of magnesium doesn’t seem to work for everyone.
  • Chickle- If you’re not into the Chamoy Pickle, you may enjoy this fried cheese-wrapped pickle.
  • Tanghulu- This viral dessert ASMR food trend is actually a traditional Chinese street food that’s a candied sugar shell surrounding fruit, like pineapple, grapes, kiwi and strawberries.
  • Scrambled Pancakes- Earlier this summer, this simple recipe took off on TikTok. It’s just classic pancakes scrambled like eggs, and some people hate it, while others have called it “genius.”
  • Ramen Carbonara- TikTokers are giving the Buldak ramen brand an upgrade by tossing it on the stove with heavy cream and egg.
  • Cereal Milk Latte- It’s easy to play barista for this recipe. Just let your favorite cereal soak in a bowl of milk, then strain it and use the milk for your latte for a sweet drink sprinkled with childhood breakfast nostalgia.
  • Cucumber Jars- You may have seen the cucumber guy on your For You and while his thing is shakable salads, he’s also gone viral for his cucumber jars.
  • Making EVERYTHING from scratch- Cooking from scratch is nothing new, but TikTok’s Nara Smith has become famous for making everything from cereal to potato chips from scratch.
