Green Day Releasing Huge "American Idiot" 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition
It’s been two decades since Green Day unleashed “American Idiot” onto the world, and the band is celebrating with a huge 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of the album. The set comes in either an 8 LP or 4 CD super deluxe box set, with two Blu-Ray discs included in both. Both limited-edition sets will include the entire original album, 15 previously unreleased demos, a 15-track concert recorded at Irving Plaza in 2004, nine previously unreleased live recordings from the era, and 14 B-sides and bonus tracks. The special editions are set to release on October 25th.

Nine Inch Nails Set To Score Disney’s "Tron: Ares" Film
This year’s D23 event from Disney had a bit of rock involved. The upcoming film “Tron: Ares,” set to hit theaters in October 2025, will have a score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross from Nine Inch Nails, and yes…there will be new NIN music on the soundtrack, too! It’s not the first time the duo has scored Hollywood productions; the pair collaborated on scores for “Challengers,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” “Soul,” and “The Social Network.” Reznor and Ross announced their involvement in the sequel to 2010’s “Tron: Legacy,” which was scored by Daft Punk.
