Is Jelly Roll a WWE Wrestler Now?
In case you missed it, Jelly Roll showed up at SummerSlam this past weekend and absolutely killed it.
The WWE had previously announced that he was going to provide some theme songs for the event, but no one expected him to get in the ring.
But after you watch Jelly choke-slam Austin Theory, you'll wonder if this is going to be his new profession. His commitment level is 100.
Then, when Austin is on the ground, he gives him the John Cena "You Can't See Me" hand gesture. Then Jelly runs off the rope . . . does a sweet stutter move . . . and jumps down dropping a final punch.
The crowd went wild, and Jelly looked like he was right at home. For any kid born in the '80s, this is a dream come true.

Metallica Plays "Sweet Caroline" At Fenway
With bassist Robert Trujillo warning the crowd that he and guitarist Kirk Hammett were about to play something that was “really scary, super heavy, and if you start moshing, try not to injure yourself,” the two cranked up some Neil Diamond. They weren’t at Fenway Park, but they were in the Boston area at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Sunday for a show and decided to put their own twist on the Red Sox tradition of playing “Sweet Caroline” at games. And yes, the crowd loved it, and no, there weren’t any mosh pit injuries reported from the 1969 hit.
