Here Are The Latest Viral Olympic Moments

Here's a rundown of the latest viral moments from the Olympics:

1. This might be the coolest picture you ever see: Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina and his board, seemingly suspended in mid-air.

FYI, Olympic surfing is happening in Tahiti . . . and the Olympic Village over there is actually a CRUISE SHIP. And yes, the surfers are kinda rubbing it in.

2. Simone Biles is now the most decorated U.S. gymnast in history, thanks to Team USA bringing home the gold. She has EIGHT Olympic medals: Five gold, one silver, and two bronze.

As NBC's Olympic Twitter put it: "Comeback complete."

3. Pollution levels in the Seine River have been a big concern leading up to the Summer Games, and it looks like they never got them under control.

The men's triathlon was postponed yesterday, supposedly due to pollution caused by heavy rains.

6. I don't know if it's too early to talk about the 2028 games in Los Angeles, but there will be six sports we're NOT seeing this year.

Cricket and Lacrosse are returning in '28. Both have been absent as medal events for over 100 YEARS. Baseball and Softball are also making their comebacks.

And two sports will make their debut at the next summer games: Squash and Flag Football.

Olympic Highlights: The Women's Gymnastics Team Won Gold

Team USA snagged six more medals yesterday, including a very big GOLD for the women's gymnastics team.

Simone Biles led the way on a bum leg to help win yesterday's team final. She had to drop out four years ago in Tokyo after getting the "twisties," and we ended up with silver that time. So taking the gold back was a big deal.

It also made Biles the most decorated American gymnast in history, with eight Olympic medals. She'd been tied with Shannon Miller, who won seven in 1992 and 1996.

That was the only gold for Team USA on Tuesday. So we ended the day still trailing with four golds, and Japan led with seven. But the U.S. did extend its lead in the overall medal count.

We added three silvers and a bronze in swimming, plus a bronze medal in women's rugby. It's the first time we've ever medaled in that event. It was added to the Olympics in 2016.

After Day 4 of the Summer Olympics, the U.S. led with 26 total medals. Then France with 18 . . . China, 14 . . . Japan 13 . . . and Great Britain, 12.
