Queens Of The Stone Age Cancel More European Shows

Queens of the Stone Age are extending their forced vacation. The band canceled eight European tour dates last month so that frontman Josh Homme could recover from emergency surgery, and he needs more time to mend. In a statement, the band said “it is under doctors orders that Josh Homme remain in their care in the United States.” The seven new shows that have been canceled include stops at Way Out West in Sweden, the Oya Festival in Norway, Syd for Solen in Denmark, the Festival Cabaret Bert in France, the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands, Pukkelpop in Belgium, and Villar de Mouros in Portugal.

Sinéad O'Connor's Cause of Death Is Out . . . and So Is an "Inappropriate" Wax Statue of Her

This past Friday was the one-year anniversary of Sinéad O'Connor's passing . . . and a cause of death has finally been announced.

Her death certificate lists "natural causes" but says she passed from COPD . . . chronic obstructive pulmonary disease . . . "exacerbated by bronchial asthma." She'd also been suffering from a respiratory tract infection at the time.

Sinéad was found unresponsive in her apartment in London . . . and sadly, was unable to be revived. So even though she'd suffered with mental health issues for years . . . her mental health didn't play a direct role in her passing.

Speaking of Sinéad, the National Wax Museum in Dublin has removed a brand new wax figure of Sinéad. The figure was just unveiled on Thursday, but almost immediately, it sparked backlash. Even her brother called it "inappropriate."

The museum said that they "can do better," and will look for a "more accurate representation."
