Music: Tool Singer Maynard James Keenan Won't Hesitate to Kick Fans Out!

Tool Singer Maynard James Keenan Won't Hesitate to Kick You Out of His Show If You Use Your Phone

Have you been to a concert recently and had someone in front of you obstructing your view so they could record on their phone?

That's exactly what Tool singer Maynard James Keenan tries to prevent. He has a no-phone policy and won't hesitate to kick fans out who disobey it.

He says, quote, "You're missing the opportunity of actually absorbing in real time what's happening. Training your brain to live in the moment and see the thing, but more importantly, stop annoying the person behind you . . .

"It's annoying, it's distracting and it's distracting for us, too. So put it the [eff] away, grow the [eff] up. It's only two hours. And at the end of the show, we usually let you film a song, so you get your souvenir."

Maynard also says that his fans shouldn't have to watch the show through the phone of the "arrogant [A-hole]" standing in front of them. Plus, the phone recordings won't even look good, so it's a waste of time.

He also compares going to a concert to a theater or a play, where putting your phone away is the norm.

A Wedding Band is suing Jelly Roll Called Jellyroll.

Jelly Roll is being sued by a Philadelphia-based wedding band called Jellyroll. The band has been around since 1980, but once Jelly Roll became a massive country music star, it messed with its brand.

The band used to be pretty easy to Google, but nowadays when you search for "Jellyroll", you get 18 to 20 references to the country singer before they even come up.

They say it's causing "irreparable harm" to the band . . . and they've reached out to Jelly Roll's people several times, but they're just being ignored.

Olivia Rodrigo Joined No Doubt Onstage And Other Coachella Notes

The big No Doubt reunion went down at Coachella on Saturday, and the band was joined onstage by Olivia Rodrigo. She did "Bathwater" with them.

Here are some other notes from the weekend:

1.  Kesha sang "Tik Tok" during Renee Rapp's set, but she changed a key lyric. Instead of "Wake up in the morning, feeling like P. Diddy," she sang, "Wake up in the morning like [eff] P. Diddy"

(WARNING: This video contains profanity.)

2.  Billie Eilish was a surprise guest during Lana Del Rey's set. They did Billie's "Ocean Eyes" and Lana's "Video Games".

3. Yes, Taylor and Travis were there . . . and yes, they were all over each other.

4. Speaking of public displays of affection, here's Justin Bieber kissing Jaden Smith . . . on the cheek.

5. Tyler the Creator's headlining set included guest appearances by ASAP RockyCharlie WilsonChildish Gambino, and Kali Uchis.

6.  Paris Hilton crashed Vampire Weekend's set to play cornhole.

7.  Grimes had some major technical errors that kind of ruined her set. She apologized on her ex-boyfriend's social media platform, and said she'll have them fixed before next weekend.

Chris Stapleton was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

He even joined the cast for a funny country-themed skit called "Get That Boy Back," poking fun at country songs about getting revenge on an ex.
