How Many Band T-Shirts Do You Currently Own?

A Surprising Number of Americans Don't Think You Need to Know a Band's Music to Wear Their Merch

You all know the rule: If you're going to wear a band's merch, you better know AT LEAST three of their songs. But a surprising number of Americans don't agree.

According to a recent poll, more than 30% of Americans don't think you need to know an artist's music to fly their colors.

And 10% say they own a shirt from an artist they've never listened to.

Here are more poll results:

1. The most popular music artist T-shirt in America belongs to Olivia Rodrigo.

2. The average person spends $400 on band shirts in their lifetime, but METAL fans spend the most: an average of $500.

3. Metal fans also own the most shirts, with an average of 10, while the overall average is six.

4. 34% of Americans own a shirt from a concert they never went to.

Eddie Van Halen's Family Ordered Pizza in His Hospital Room After He Died

When Eddie Van Halen died, he was surrounded by his ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, their son Wolfgang, Eddie's brother Alex, and Alex's two sons.

And also PIZZA . . . which they ordered after he passed.

Valerie says, quote, "I forget who suggested it, but we were like, 'Should we have pizza?' Because he couldn't eat, and the last thing Ed really wanted was pizza.

"He loved pizza and burritos, so we had pizza in his hospital room. I hope people don't think that's morbid."

Tom Morello Joins Bruce Springsteen At L.A. Show

In a big reunion, former E Street Band touring member Tom Morello shared the stage once again with Bruce Springsteen at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Sunday night. Igniting the crowd with renditions of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" and "American Skin (41 Shots)," the performance marked a triumphant return for both songs, as well as both musicians performing together. Morello and Springsteen's collab dates back 16 years, with Morello's contributions to the albums "Wrecking Ball" and "High Hopes."

Meanwhile, Springsteen’s 2021 cover of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" on Morello's solo album, "The Atlas Underground Fire," stands as a testament to their passion to rock 'n' roll excellence. With tour dates all over North America, the UK, and Europe, Springsteen and the E Street Band continue to captivate audiences as well as solidify a friendship between Bruce and Tom.
