The girl's name was spelled C-V-I-I-I-L-Y-N. So it looks like you'd pronounce it "civilian." Weird name, but okay.
But it turned out she was way off, and it's actually "Katelyn." (???) The V-I-I-I in the middle is the Roman Numeral for "eight."
