Elmo didn't do anything wrong. All he did was CARE. And for that, he was viciously attacked yesterday on the "Today" show.
Elmo was kickin' it with the hosts when Larry David . . . who was another guest that morning . . . grabbed Elmo BY THE FACE and pretended to punch him. Then he said, quote, "Somebody had to do it."
He did apologize, though, and Elmo accepted.
