MUSIC NEWS: After 15 Years, The Black Crowes Announce New Music

After 15 Years, The Black Crowes Announce New Music

Chris and Rich Robinson, better known to the rock world as The Black Crowes, have announced their first album of new music in 15 years. “Happiness Bastards” is the follow-up to 2009’s “Before The Frost… Until The Freeze”… but the duo did release an album of cover songs (“1972”) in 2022.

“The Robinson Brothers are claiming this momentous year as their own,” boasted a press release. “Following decades marked by sex, drugs, fights, breakups, and divorce, they are leaving their bulls*** behind.” Chris calls the new work “our love letter to rock n’ roll,” while Rich added it’s “a continuation of our story as a band.”

Ahead of the band’s March 15th release, The Black Crowes have dropped lead single “Wanting And Waiting.” It’s worth noting, too, that 2024 is the band’s 40th anniversary.
