RIP Hutch from "Starsky & Hutch" and Lacey Underall from "Caddyshack"

Some notable deaths to report this morning:

 

 

David Soul died Thursday after what his family called, quote, "a valiant battle for life."  He was 80 years old.

 

 

Soul was best known for playing Hutch in the '70s buddy cop show "Starsky & Hutch," alongside Paul Michael Glaser.

 

 

Soul also played a killer cop in Clint Eastwood's second Dirty Harry movie, "Magnum Force", and a vampire killer in the 1979 miniseries version of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot".

 

 

Oh, and he had a #1 hit with the 1976 jam "Don't Give Up On Us".

Glaser issued a statement saying, quote, "I find it difficult to comprehend David's passing.  Seems only yesterday that we were sharing loving insults on the phone."

Also passing away recently: Actress Cindy Morgan.  She was 69 when she died of natural causes at her home in Florida on December 30th.

 

 

Cindy played the sexy Lacy Underall in the classic Chevy Chase / Bill Murray comedy "Caddyshack."

 

 

You might also remember her from "Tron", the nighttime soap "Falcon Crest", and the 1979 "erotic comedy" "Up Yours".

Harry Johnson from "Battlestar Galactica," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Law & Order" and Christian Oliver from "Speed Racer" and "Saved by the Bell: The New Class."

(Christian was only 51.  He died in a plane crash.)
