Jelly Roll Brought Out Lynyrd Skynyrd for the Song "Simple Man"
Jelly Roll does the Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Simple Man" at a lot of his shows. But he had a special guest join him on it last Friday . . . the ACTUAL Lynyrd Skynyrd. Two of them anyway.
Johnny Van Zant showed up with guitarist Rickey Medlocke. It was at Jelly's show in their hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.
He called them the greatest rock band EVER, and they called him "the real deal."
They also showed up with a gift. Founding member Gary Rossington passed away back in March.
His wife and kids wanted to give Jelly one of Gary's GUITARS.
Johnny made a point of saying, "I wonder how many Lynyrd Skynyrd songs [were] written on that guitar."

Wolfgang Van Halen Gets Hitched:
The Van Halen family has welcomed a new member. Wolfgang Van Halen, son of late rock legend Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli, was married over the weekend to fiancée Andraia Allsop in a ceremony at their LA home. The pair got married on their eight-year anniversary (October 15th) and partied with an estimated 90 guests. “We wanted to create this wedding as a celebration not only just for us to get married,” said the new Mrs. Wolfgang Van Halen. “But a celebration for the people we love.”

Travis Barker Posts A Pic Of His Gnarly Hand Injury:
It hasn’t been the smoothest year for Blink-182’s Travis Barker. Earlier this year, the drummer dislocated then re-injured his finger, causing the band to postpone shows on their reunion tour. Later, Barker caught COVID-19 and then had to leave Blink’s trek suddenly as pregnant Kourtney Kardashian was hospitalized with complications. And now the rocker himself showed off a nasty injury to his left he apparently got while playing in Manchester, England, over the weekend. Barker didn’t share the cause for the gruesome, bloody mess but labeled the photo on his Instagram Story as “sensitive content.”

LIAM GALLAGHER IS TOURING OASIS' DEBUT ALBUM... WITHOUT NOEL GALLAGHER
Liam Gallagher is fulfilling his promise to celebrate the 30th birthday of one of Oasis’ definitive albums… and he’s not waiting for his brother Noel Gallagher to do it. The fiery brother rock duo has never been able to get along long enough to agree on a reunion, so Liam’s touring “Definitely Maybe” with his own band.
This past May, Liam seemed to be challenged by a fan who said he couldn’t tour Oasis’ debut LP without Noel. “Watch me,” he responded in typical Gallagher defiance. And so it is, as the rocker has announced he’s taking “Definitely Maybe” around both the UK and Ireland for a 12-date jaunt next summer.
“I’m bouncing around the house to announce the ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour,” wrote Liam in a statement. “The most important album of the 90s bar none,” he continued with his trademark bravado. “I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together.” Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 20th).
