You don't hear the phrase "Cleveland Browns legend" very often, but it didn't fit anyone better than Jim Brown. He may have been one of the greatest players in the history of the NFL.
Sadly, Jim passed away on Thursday of natural causes. He was 87 years old.
Jim played nine years in the NFL, from 1957 to 1965, all with the Browns. He won eight league rushing titles and three MVP awards. He NEVER missed a game due to injury.
He also had a long, successful acting career, in movies like "The Dirty Dozen", "Ice Station Zebra", "Slaughter", and "Three the Hard Way" in the '60s and '70s.
He had a great run in the '80s and '90s, too, in movies like "The Running Man," "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka," "Mars Attacks!", "He Got Game," and "Any Given Sunday."
His last movie was 2014's "Draft Day," starring Kevin Costner.
