Criminals: Razor Blades Were Found Hidden in a Child's Halloween Candy.

Razor Blades Were Found Hidden in a Child's Halloween Candy

Everyone has heard the urban legend warning you to watch out for RAZOR BLADES in your Halloween candy . . . and yet, for the past 50 years, the most sinister thing anyone has ever received is: Good & Plenty.

But . . . it's FINALLY happened. Multiple razor blades were found hidden in various children's Halloween candy this week in Eugene, Oregon. They were small blades . . . like pencil sharpener blades.

The blades allegedly came from the neighborhood of Friendly Eugene. Yes, Friendly is the neighborhood.

The police are investigating . . . and have narrowed their focus to just a few streets . . . but they haven't named any suspects yet.

This happened Monday in Ontario, Canada. Police were on the side of a highway filming a PSA about speeding. One officer was inside his patrol car talking about highway safety, and then he pointed his radar gun at the road.

Within seconds he caught someone doing 167 kilometers an hour, which is about 103 MILES an hour. After he went in pursuit, the officer who was filming him got on camera and said, "I promise you, that was not planned. That just happened."

A Catalytic Converter Theft Ring Got Caught, Because of a Catalytic Converter Necklace?

Catalytic converters are a viral target for thieves these days . . . to the point where you wonder if some thieves are stealing cars JUST for the catalytic converters.

On Wednesday, the Justice Department announced the first "national takedown" of a catalytic converter theft ring. 21 people from five states have been arrested so far, and they executed 32 search warrants.

Stolen catalytic converters are a HUGE business. Officials seized the ring's homes, cars, and other assets, totaling $545 MILLION.

And one of the leaders of the ring was reportedly caught . . . because he had a necklace with a charm shaped like a catalytic converter, and he was showing it off on Instagram.  (???)

His name is Navin "Lovin" Khanna, and he owned a New Jersey auto shop that allegedly bought and resold stolen converters.
