Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale made national headlines after a video of his heated exchange with rude Phillies fans after the Astros Game 3 loss went viral. A drunk Philly fan was heckling him and bad-mouthing the Astros (specifically Jose Altuve) as he was trying to leave the stadium.
Mack has said in interviews since that the guy pushed him too far by calling Altuve a cheater and saying that he will never make it into the Hall of Fame. He told KHOU 11 that he has no regrets about his response:
"I stand up for Houston when they're right and I stand up for Jose Altuve,"
"Jose is one of the greatest Astros of all time, he's a great person and a great ambassador for Houston."
