Arby’s Introduces Spicy Food Challenge

Arby’s has a new Spicy Food Challenge featuring their new “Diablo” sandwiches and “Diablo Loaded Fries.” Here is a rundown of the items being offered for a limited time only:

  • Diablo Dare Chicken Sandwich – Originally introduced to the menu back in January of this year and features spicy fried chicken, hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapenos, Diablo BBQ sauce and a toasted red chipotle bun.
  • Diablo Dare Roast Beef Sandwich – substitutes the chicken with roast beef with the same condiments as the chicken sandwich.
  • Diablo Loaded Fries – covered in cheddar cheese sauce, fire-roasted jalapenos, fiery seasoning and Diablo BBQ sauce.

To help fade the heat, all of the Diablo Dare items come with a free “extingui-shake.” The “dare” is to order the sandwich and fries and get the free shake to cool you down.

Taco Bell Testing Three New ‘Mexican-Inspired’ Coffee Flavors.

Taco Bell is always pushing the envelope with new menu ideas – some make the cut…and some don’t. But their latest move? To test three new iced coffee flavors that are “Mexican-inspired.” Mexican coffee is not as well known as its Brazilian cousin, but the flavors are similar according to Drink Trade and Taco Bell locations in Fresno, California and Philadelphia are getting a chance to try these three varieties as noted by Brand Eating.

  • Dulce de Leche
  • Mexican Chocolate Mocha
  • Sweet Vanilla

A large cup of the Iced Coffee test flavors is priced at $2.99 and the current Taco Bell Iced Coffee flavors are regular and Cinnabon Delights. There’s no word on how long the test phase will run, but like many test items, if they catch on you are likely to see them at your local Taco Bell in the future.
