You've probably heard by now that Chris Farley was originally picked to be the voice of "Shrek." And he recorded some of the dialogs before he died and was replaced by Mike Myers.
In a newly-unearthed, 15-second clip, you can see how good Farley would have been in the role. It's test footage featuring a crudely-animated Shrek, but it's clear they hired the right guy.
Another clip just surfaced, with more polished animation. But Shrek looks a little different than he ended up in the movie. He's thinner and has really gnarly teeth.
In this clip, he's beating up a would-be mugger and grooving to the James Brown classic "I Feel Good."
