Women Of Marvel's Thor Movies: Lookin At Girlzz Spotlight

Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters this weekend. With that in mind, it seems like a good time to take a closer look at the ladies who've shared the screen with Chris Hemsworth in the MCU Thor movies.

Natalie Portman

She kicked things off as Jane Foster, Thor's love interest in Thor (2011) and Thor: The Dark World (2013) before taking a long break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Portman is back in Thor: Love and Thunder and Jane now mysteriously wields the power (and the hammer) of the mighty Thor.

Kat Dennings

The Two Broke Girls star has played Darcy Lewis in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and WandaVision. Darcy entered the MCU as an intern for astrophysicists Jane Foster and Eric Selvig in 2011's Thor. After graduating with a doctorate in astrophysics, she was recruited by the government agency S.W.O.R.D. into helping figure out the weird phenomenon at the center of WandaVision. No word yet on where we might see her next.

Tessa Thompson

After her breakout role in Creed, Tessa Thompson quickly signed on to play Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok (2017). Her character returned for Avengers: Endgame, where she became the new king of Asgard, and now she's back in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Cate Blanchett

Widely considered one of the finest actresses of her generation, Blanchett is mostly known for serious dramatic work like Elizabeth, Carol, and The Aviator. Thor: Ragnarok is one of her rare fun, blockbuster appearances. She played the villainous Hela, sister of Thor and the Asgardia goddess of death.

Jaimie Alexander

She was Thor's Asgardian ally Lady Sif in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, but her schedule on the NBC series Blindspot kept her from appearing in Thor: Ragnarok. She had a fun cameo last summer in Loki on Disney+ and Sif is back for Thor: Love and Thunder.
