According to News.com.au, Australian bodybuilder and fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin recently got a surprising amount of hate after posting a photo of herself in a bikini, hanging out at the beach with her 15-year-old son. The photo was part of a carousel of photos in a post wishing him a happy 15th birthday. Trolls quickly flooded the comments calling the pic and her pose "too sexy" and criticizing the mom of four for being around her sons in a bikini. She edited the post to address the comments.
Guidolin's response reads, in part:
Do I have a problem wearing a bikini in front of my sons? NO WAY. Why? Because im not sexualised to him, nor have I ever been!!! If you have an issue, maybe you should look into why you feel you have to sexualise a woman’s body instead of it simply being a mum and her son at the pool!!!
