Criminals: A Disgruntled Employee Got Six Months for Releasing Rats at Work

A Disgruntled Employee Got Six Months for Releasing Rats at Work

I've heard of people getting angry at their job and wanting to burn the place down . . . but THIS is somehow even more hellish.

A 61-year-old man in Ireland has just been sentenced to six months in prison for releasing RATS in his office. He worked for the county government, and he'd been there for 23 years . . . but then had a falling out with his manager.

He brought the rats into the office and set them free at night, and when everyone arrived in the morning, there was rat poo everywhere. The guy was RATTED OUT by security footage, which showed him bringing them in.

The rats caused almost $3,500 in damage. In addition to the six-month prison sentence, the man had to cover the $3,500 cleaning bill.

The judge said it was a "uniquely wicked" act because of all the effort he put into finding, catching, and releasing the rats.

Police Arrested a Woman Who Stole a Service Dog at a Walmart

There are plenty of strange things that you could steal from Walmart, but this one is hard to top.

Police in New Hampshire has arrested a 56-year-old woman named Christine Powers for allegedly stealing someone's SERVICE DOG from a Walmart.

It's unclear WHY she took the dog.

The dog's owner briefly stepped away from her cart in the checkout line, and that's when Christine snatched the dog and took off.

Fortunately, the police later found the dog with Christine. The dog was unharmed and was reunited with its owner.

Christine was charged with theft. She also faces charges in Pennsylvania for allegedly violating probation after a theft conviction. It's unclear if that was another service dog, or if she'd stolen something else.
