So when you order a pizza at Criss Angel's new restaurant, this is how it gets to your table.

Trader Joe’s Places Product Limits On These Four Items

Trader Joe’s knows: the combination of in-demand and lower-cost items often equals items being out of stock, and that can lead to customer dissatisfaction. Not willing to run that risk, TJ’s is placing purchase limits on four high-demand products. They are:

  1. BRAZIL NUT BODY BUTTER – A much cheaper version of a ‘very popular $45 cream,’ TJ’s has reportedly limited purchase of the $5.99 product to one or two containers at a time. Some TJ’s hadn’t even stocked the product yet, suggesting they expect it to be huge and are attempting to get ahead of the perceived demand.
  2. UBE MOCHI PANCAKE & WAFFLE MIX – If you frequent Trader Joe’s, you know anything “Ube” doesn’t stay on the shelves long. To combat that, TJ’s has put a ‘one box purchase limit’ in place on this item. Even with the limits in place, don’t sleep on this. Kids seem to love the purple pancakes and waffles this creates, and at $3.99 a box, parents are snatching this stuff up.
  3. UBE TEA COOKIES – They’re purple yam shortbread cookies. And as we mentioned, anything “Ube” disappears from shelves as quickly as it’s stocked. Reports are you can buy two boxes, and that’s it.
  4. YOGA SKELETONS – Believe it or not, they’re exactly as their name suggests. These air plant holders (in the form of yoga-practicing skeletons) are big this time of year for obvious reasons; limit is set at three per TJ’s trip, but if you’re desperate they’re available from resellers (but marked up considerably) on sites like Ebay and Amazon.
