Dave Grohl Drops Memoir Trailer

Dave Grohl is gearing up to release his new memoir “The Storyteller” on October 5th. A trailer for the book has dropped, where the Foo Fighters frontman reflects on his journey “collecting moments” to write it.

During his pandemic downtime, Dave says he “fell in love with writing” after starting his Instagram storytelling page “Dave’s True Stories.” Then he thought to himself, “you know what, maybe I’ll just write a book"… which turned out to be a “gargantuan of a project.”

“My life flashes before my eyes every single day and in writing this book I’ve tried to capture those moments as best I can,” he says. “I could write an entire book about my time in Nirvana. The idea was to choose the stories that best described what it’s like to be behind the curtain and on the inside of the music, from the drum stool looking out.” Check out the trailer to the right.

  • ONE MORE THING! Foo Fighters have set a new personal record thanks to their latest single “Making A Fire.” The band just scored their 11th leader on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, which makes their album “Medicine At Midnight” their first to have three number-one singles on the chart, after “Shame Shame” and “Waiting On A War.”
