Johnny Rotten Says the Sex Pistols Are Now the Property of "Mickey [Effing] Mouse"
There's a docuseries on the SEX PISTOLS in the works. It's called "Pistol", and it's scheduled to hit FX sometime next year. It's based on an autobiography written by guitarist STEVE JONES.
As you may have heard, JOHN LYDON . . . a.k.a. JOHNNY ROTTEN . . . is very much opposed to it.
He has no involvement in it, and he even sued Jones, drummer PAUL COOK, and bassist GLEN MATLOCK to stop it, but he LOST. And now he's BROKE.
He says, quote, "I've got no more savings, no more loans, no pensions. I've got nothing . . . I'm [effed] . . . I never expected [them] to be that evil."
Since FX is owned by Disney, Johnny says, quote, "This became Walt Disney money vs. me. Who do you think gonna win? The Sex Pistols have become the property of Mickey [effing] Mouse."
