Lingerie Model Marries Herself To Preach ‘Self-Love’

“Alone time” means something different for lingerie model and influencer Cris Galera after she married herself outside a Catholic church in Sao Paulo for “self-love.” She went the distance with the ceremony, wearing a white dress with what she called a “killer neckline,” and even tossed her bouquet at the end of the ceremony.

Some are calling her out for what they see as a publicity stunt, but the model says it’s for real and that she’s committed to putting herself first. It’s part of a revival of a trend called “sologamy,” where single people marry themselves to show that they don’t need a partner to be happy.
