Korn Guitarist Munky Sitting Out Tour Dates Due To COVID

Korn guitarist Munky is sitting out some of the band’s upcoming tour dates after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

"[Munky] is doing OK, but he will not be playing some of our upcoming shows,” the band says in a statement. “The tour is going on as scheduled despite these circumstances, and we are anticipating a speedy recovery.”

Bands Teaming Up For Suicide Prevention Event

Instead of singing about the stereotypical death and darkness, metal bands are teaming up today to rock about life and seeing the light. Love and Death, Lacey Sturm, August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, and others are teaming up today for a "Choose Life" Livestream event. The project is in conjunction with World Suicide Prevention Day and is taking place in tandem with HeartSupport, which was founded by August Burns Red frontman Jake Luhrs. The event will be streamed on Twitch starting at 5 p.m. Eastern.
