It only took 19 years, but I finally have closure from Steve's ABRUPT exit from "Blues Clues".
The O.G. host, STEVE BURNS, came back to give a special message to his grown-up fans in celebration of the 25th anniversary of "Blues Clues".
Steve said, quote, "We started out with clues and now it's what? Student loans and jobs and families . . . and some of it has been kinda hard, you know? . . .
"I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years I never forgot you . . . ever."
He also said he understands his exit in 2002 was abrupt, so he just wanted to acknowledge it.
In other Steve news . . . he is directing a music video for the anniversary with the current host Josh Dela Cruz and the other former host Donovan Patton. A release date hasn't been announced.
