Lionsgate has landed the rights to "48 Hours in Vegas," inspired by Dennis Rodman's wild weekend in Las Vegas in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals.
The film will detail the budding friendship between Rodman and a skittish Chicago Bulls assistant general manager. The Bulls won their third straight NBA title and sixth overall in 1998 as Rodman contributed the rebounding and lockdown defense that persuaded five NBA teams to make peace with his wild side.
