Pearl Jam Celebrating Albums Anniversaries With Free Streaming Event
Pearl Jam is celebrating two big anniversaries later this month, and they’re doing so with a big treat for fans.
August 27th marks the 30th anniversary of their debut album “Ten,” as well as the 25th anniversary of their fourth studio album “No Code.” To celebrate the occasion, the band will be streaming their October 17th, 2014 Moline, Illinois show for free on Nugs.net. This show featured the band playing “No Code” from start to finish in its entirety.
The free streaming event is set to kick off on August 27th at 5 pm PT and will run through August 30th at 11:59 pm PT. Check out the announcement below.

Trent Reznor And Danny Elfman Drop Single
Danny Elfman and Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor have teamed up on a new single, “True.” Not only does the song come off of Danny’s first new solo album in 37 years, but it also marks his first-ever collab.
“This is the first duet/collaboration I’ve ever done in my life, so to do it with Trent was a real surprise and a treat,” Danny says. “He’s always been a big inspiration to me, not to mention he has one of my all-time favorite singing voices.”

Blackberry Smoke's Guitarist Is Covid Positive, so They're Canceling Shows
Blackberry Smoke guitarist Paul Jackson has COVID-19. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, they said he was "feeling symptoms" and was tested immediately. It came up positive, so the band canceled that night's show in Jacksonville, Florida.
The rest of the tour is also in jeopardy.
They added, quote, "In order to ensure the safety of the rest of the band, crew, staff, and fans, we need to immediately halt the tour." They're hoping to reschedule shows and will give updates.

Jason Isbell's "Vaccine Mandates" Are Causing Problems for His Tour
A couple of days ago JASON ISBELL announced that he's "requiring proof of vaccination OR a current negative test" to attend his shows. Well, that's already causing problems. Yesterday's show in Houston was canceled because of it.
The venue said they didn't have enough time to implement the plan, although Jason tried to call B.S. And tomorrow's show at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas has been moved to Billy Bob's Texas.
Jason says that's because the Governor had threatened to withhold funding from venues that allow COVID restrictions. As always, when it gets political, it gets complicated. This is just the beginning.
