No Foo For Rod…2021 New Orleans Jazzfest Cancelled Due To COVID
The 2021 New Orleans Jazzfest has been canceled for a second year in a row due to COVID concerns.
“As a result of the current exponential growth of new COVID cases in New Orleans and the region and the ongoing public health emergency, we must sadly announce that the 2021 edition of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell, scheduled to take place October 8 –17, 2021, will not occur as planned,” organizers said on their website. “We now look forward to next spring, when we will present the Festival during its traditional timeframe.”
Thankfully, organizers have already set the dates for next year’s dates – April 29th – May 8th.

Limp Bizkit Cancels Summer Tour Dates
Limp Bizkit won’t be hitting the road this summer, after all. The band has canceled their upcoming tour dates with Spiritbox out of “safety concerns.”

Rumors started that Fred Durst told fans outside the venue that guitarist Wes Borland felt “really sick” after soundcheck, but the band is shooting down coronavirus rumors.

Foo Fighters Troll Protestors At Concert
Foo Fighters are keeping up their tradition of trolling the Westboro Baptist Church. The band had some fun with protestors outside their concert at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas on Thursday.
It’s unclear why the church has targeted the Foos, but the band doesn’t seem to mind the hate. As fans started arriving at the parking lot, the band drove by on a flatbed truck to serenade a group of protesters with their take on the Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, I got something to say. Because you know what? I love you! I do,” frontman Dave Grohl said before their min-performance. “The way I look at it, I love everybody. That’s what you’re supposed to do ... I deliver all of my love, and you shouldn’t be hating. You should be dancing!”

Live Nation Will Allow Artists to Require Proof of Vaccination at Concerts
If you attend any concerts in the near future, you might very well be asked to provide proof of vaccination. Live Nation is allowing artists who work with them to require fans AND staff to either be vaccinated or show proof of a negative test.
Live Nation is actually ENCOURAGING it. They say the policy was a great success at Lollapalooza, with 90% of the crowd fully vaccinated.
The company says, quote, "We know people are eager to return to live events and we hope these measures encourage even more people to get vaccinated . . . and we are encouraging as many shows as possible to adopt this model."
