Criminals: A Guy May Have Set a New Record for World's Drunkest Driver

A Guy May Have Set a New Record for World's Drunkest Driver

We've seen a few world records fall at the Olympics this week. But here's the type of record you DON'T want to break . . .

A 28-year-old guy in Oregon named Nathan Danzuka may have set a new record for world's DRUNKEST DRIVER.

He got pulled over in February for a hit-and-run. And when the cop told him to get out of the car, he took off. But he didn't get far.

He only made it a half-mile down the road before crashing into a concrete barrier. And his blood alcohol level was 0.778 . . . or almost TEN TIMES the legal limit.

He was just back in court and got 13 months in prison for it. The judge also suspended his license for LIFE.

Now, obviously, Guinness doesn't hand out records for drunk driving. But the website The Smoking Gun covers a lot of these stories. And they say it's the drunkest driver they've ever seen.

Their previous record of 0.72 was held by a woman who ALSO lived in Oregon. Back in 2007, she was found unconscious in her car after plowing into a snowbank.

(Here's Nathan's mugshot. For what it's worth, our blood alcohol gets into the potentially fatal range around .40 and up.)

Police in London, Ontario says a man intentionally struck another man with his car last Friday because he caught the guy PEEING in his lawn.

It's unclear why he was peeing there, and his condition is unknown . . . but he didn't die.
